May of 2021 I bought an Amazon dash cam for $85. I got what I expected. It recorded. It played back. It did not keep time. This is a great upgrade to that. The GPS sets the time. The Wi-Fi app is impressive.
The rear camera was easy to attach to the top-inside back cab window of my truck. Running the thin video wire was easy with the supplied plastic tool to push back mostly rubber edging. I'd say it took me less than 20 minutes to get it all set up. I did not get the optional power cord to record when parked. The two side cameras record only black and white only. That's fine with me. Them being able to be rotated and aimed is a plus. Will make it easy to aim it at my dog when she is riding shotgun. The kit included a QR code to activate two years of warranty. This made the additional coverage I purchased not as valuable as I thought it would have been. I would not have purchased it had I known a two year warranty activation was going to be in the box.
This is very user friendly, easy to use and understand, records great with many options to change, mph, tones, recording quality, etc.

Even though I ordered the newer version, they shipped the old, decided to keep it anyway. Took approximately five minutes by the time I unpackaged everything, mounted on windshield and plugged it in. I instantly had three different angles of recordings. Will mount Rear camera later, on this particular 2500 high top long wheelbase cargo van. Video quality pretty awesome, size wise _ sleek and stylish. Suction cup Mount seems pretty sturdy. Easily downloaded the app and paired Wi-Fi up and running and doing the job intended for! If this is a success, in the next week, I will be buying them for all our vehicles.
I was rear ended and the camera captured all angles of the accident. Even captured the conversation I had with the other driver as we stood behind my car exchanging information. I love that it can capture the sides as well, great bonus compared to other competitors.
I needed new adhesive because mine wasn't sticking at first and the seller was kind, responded very quickly, and promptly sent what I needed. A++ to the seller! Very happy with the quality of the dashcam and video!
